Microsoft Devices on Thursday announced the launch of Lumia 630 Windows Phone in Gujarat. The phones will be available in the market from May 26 onwards.

For the first time, Lumia smart phone is available in the Dual SIM option with quad-core processing and a ClearBlack 4.5” LCD screen, a company statement said. The dual SIM variant is available at a price of ₹11,500, while the single SIM variant is priced at ₹10,500.

“We think the Lumia 630 is unbeatable in its range,” said Suresh Vedula, Head-B2B, Nokia India (a Subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles Oy).

According to Vedula, Lumia portfolio is gaining acceptance in the Indian enterprise segment, as organisations are switching to the Lumia proposition from their traditional enterprise mobility providers.

“In the last two years, more than 400 enterprises including GMR Group, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, Qualcomm, Emerson, CGI Info Systems, Trilegal and Eureka Forbes, among others, had opted for the Windows Phone based Lumia portfolio.”

Leading companies in Western India such as Honeywell, HUL, GSK, OTIS, Mother’s Recipe, and National Dairy Development Board among others have also switched to Lumia. In many instances, enterprises chose to change over from their existing smartphone platform.
