NComputing, a provider of desktop virtualisation technology, has been recognised as the fastest growing vendor in worldwide enterprise client device market in the second quarter of 2013.

According to IDC Worldwide Enterprise Client Device Tracker Q2 2013, the company has posted 70 per cent quarter-on-quarter growth and 65 per cent year-on-year growth.

According to the report, the company holds 78.4 per cent market share in India and it has increased its market share in APAC/Japan region with a quarter-on-quarter growth of 138.9 per cent.

Manish Sharma, Vice-President-Asia Pacific, NComputing Inc., said: “We intend to expand the market further with the introduction of new products and programmes aimed at nurturing the existing customer and partner/channel base and growing it further by augmenting customer experience and increasing adoption of our solutions.”

The company has recently announced major enhancements to its N-series line of Citrix Ready HDX thin clients, which feature System on Chip (SoC) technology.

Before this, the company unveiled a new version of the vSpace Desktop and Application Virtualisation Software.

NComputing is a California-based desktop virtualisation company that manufactures hardware and software to create virtual desktops, which enable multiple users to simultaneously share a single operating system.
