Ness Digital Engineering, a New Jersey-based firm with huge presence in India, will acquire Linium, a New York-based consultancy firm. It entered into a definitive agreement to buy the digital business, engineering, experience and transformation consultancy company.
Of the 3,800 employees of Ness Digital, over 1,200 work in India (about 700 in Hyderabad and 500 in Bengaluru).
Linium acquisition will add 200 employees to the Ness Digital workforce. Ness Digital Engineering helps its clients in delivering dynamic customer interactions and business operations platforms.
“The acquisition will extend our capabilities in digital operations and business process management and automation,” Paul Lombardo, Ness Digital Engineering CEO, said in a statement on Thursday.
“Organisations are under tremendous pressure to be more agile and efficient in their operations, and Linium is highly regarded for its expertise in strategic business process consulting and helping clients use technologies to transform business processes,” he said.
