Mr P.V.G. Menon, former President & CEO of VANN Consulting Pvt Ltd, took over as President of India Semiconductor Association (ISA), a trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry, according to a press statement from ISA.
Mr Menon would henceforth be responsible for overseeing the operations of ISA and will work as a member of its Executive Council on strategic issues related to the growth of the semiconductor and the electronics industry in India, the press statement said.
Mr Menon has over 24 years of experience in the development, marketing and management of technology. He has also worked with Philips (now known as NXP Semiconductors) and Analog Devices, Siemens Information Systems Ltd. and CMC Ltd and has served on the Executive Council of the Advanced Computing and Communications Society of India.
