Startups graduated from Nexus Startup Hub, which is a collaboration between the American Centre and the University of Texas-Austin, has so far raised $3.26 million.
The 42 startups that got funded has generated more than $1.5 million in incremental revenue, Conrad Turner, CAO, Public Diplomacy, US Embassy, said here on Friday.
The startup hub was started a year ago and it helps startups get access to industry and government networks, training and mentorship through intensive 10-week sessions. In addition to the session, selected startups can avail themselves of the long-term incubation facility that lasts up to eight months.
So far the business incubator has seen graduation of five batches. From the fifth batch, the incubator has seen startups from south Asian countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
