Telecom major Bharti Airtel will introduce Nokia X smartphone that runs Android applications across 17 countries in Africa from mid-April. “Nokia X will come with data bundles for our customers to access their favourite social sites and chat applications,” said Airtel Africa Chief Marketing Officer Andre Beyers. With an eye on the growing smartphone market in emerging markets such as India, Nokia had launched the smartphones in February.
