OC Tanner planning to strengthen tech development Centre at Hyderabad soon

Upbeat about its India operations, OC Tanner, a leading employee engagement, rewards and recognition services provider to multinational corporations , isplanning to strengthen its technology development centre in Hyderabad.

Global operations

OC Tanner started its India journey by setting up its marketing and sales office in Mumbai five years ago and later established a technology development centre in Hyderabad.

“We are now looking to build on the platform we have created in India. Apart from serving our multinational corporate clients, we have added more than 20 companies to our services portfolio in India. We expect this number to go up,” said Mindi Cox, Senior Vice- president, People and Great Work, OC Tanner.

During an interaction with BusinessLine, Mindi Cox was upbeat about India and said, “We have had great success in India since we began operations with the marketing and sales office in Mumbai. And then the setting up of the Technology Centre in Hyderabad has added to our global operations.”


Cox said “for two openings, about 600 people had taken part. We are in India for such a large base of skill and talent and their dedication and commitment.”

“One of the keys to success in our India operations is the leadership team. This has contributed to the growth of the Indian operations,” she said.

“Our clients use OC Tanner’s Culture Cloud suite of apps and solutions to retain, engage, and attract talent, bond teams, drive innovation, and communicate company values,” she added.

“Our rewards and recognition platform Greatwork has an app and a website version that is Android and iOS-enabled.

The India team researches and maintains this app for all existing and new clients in India and across the globe,” she said.

The Android version of the Greatwork app is developed in India where as the iOS version is supported by the US team.

Engineering support

The specialised software development centre provides support to global teams in professional service engineering for large enterprise clients, and works on the development of Android-based applications and test engineering support for existing customer applications.
