PointRed Telecom Ltd, manufacturer of 4G equipment on Friday said it would invest Rs 200 crore over next five years to set up a facility in India.
The company said its new facility is likely to come up in Chennai or Bangalore and is expected to get operational in next 12-18 months.
“There is a huge market opportunity in this space with the total market for such equipments expected reach at $6-7 billion over next five years from few hundred crore right now,” Mr Balaji Kulothungan, Chief Executive Officer, PointRed said.
