Ramco Systems, the Chennai-based aviation software provider on cloud and mobile, has secured an order from Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters, the world’s largest and longest running aerial tour company, to install Aviation Suite V5.8, for maintenance and engineering operations of its fleet. The order size was not disclosed.
Papillon Group’s fleet of 80 rotor and fixed-wing aircraft annually fly an estimated 6 lakh passengers with daily sightseeing tours of the Grand Canyon and other US landmarks.
Ramco will service two Papillon entities – PapillonGrand Canyon Helicopters and Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines – with its Aviation Suite 5.8, integrating both facilities’ manual systems on a single digital platform to improve company-wide productivity and process efficiency.
The solution will help both entities unify their engineering and programmes, maintenance, compliance and quality, flight operations, and crew scheduling on a single platform from Ramco. In addition, Papillon will benefit from the electronic flight bag, mobility, role-based HUBs and an advanced visualisation dashboard for real-time analysis, says a release from Ramco Systems. At the time of filing this report, Ramco’s stock price on the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading at ₹558.55, up by ₹32.85.
