Reliance Communications and handygo Technologies Pvt Ltd have joined hands to provide to the rural areas Behtar Zindagi (better life), in which the subscribers would get live information on weather, livestock, mandi prices, fishery advisory, finance and health schemes for Rs 30 for 30 days.
While handygo Technologies is a leading provider of VAS solutions, Reliance Communications is the only Indian telecom operator offering nationwide CDMA and GSM mobile services.
Behtar Zindagi is the latest bouquet of VAS offerings for customers in the rural areas, designed to provide daily information to RCom's rural subscribers. The subscribers can get up-to-date information, according to a release here on Wednesday.
To use the service, RCom subscribers would need to dial 556780 (toll-free) and avail the subscription pack at a minimal charge of Rs 30/20/10/3 for 30/20/10/5 days respectively.
The customer also has an option of using the service by dialling 55678 at Re 1 a minute.
