The star attraction of the Vizag Fintech Festival this year — humanoid robot Sophia — interacted with the delegates and State IT Minister, N Lokesh on Thursday.
Sophia expressed happiness over the Vizag Fintech Festival, being conducted for the second successive year, and said the city had a great future in the sector.
Artificial intelligence can never be a substitute for human intelligence but it could supplement it and be of great use to humans in many fields, such as disaster management, said Sophia.
Sophia expressed the hope that Fintech Festival will be conducted again in Vizag in 2019 and she could meet and converse with Lokesh again next year.
The delegates, numbering over 2,000, were thrilled by the experience.
Later, the winners in the million-dollar global Start-up challenge were given awards by the minister.
