Targeting the enterprise and SMB market in Kerala, Sify Technologies Ltd has announced the launch of its cloud services.

Kerala, with its single largest digital service penetration in the country, has the potential to take the lead in cloud services as it offers cost-effective solutions for SMB customers, Raju Vegesna, the company Chairman told reporters here on Friday.

The state market, he said, is fast emerging as an SMB hub and it is an attractive market for adoption of new-age IT technologies. Businesses in the state can take advantage of this IT transformation and avoid making any further investments in IT once they adopt cloud services.

According to him, IT usage in India is small compared to that in developed countries and the cloud platform, the new trend in IT, therefore offers cost-effective solutions for any kind of services.

Under its cloud services portfolio, Sify will offer public, private and managed cloud services. CloudInfinit, the company’s flagship product, will be made available to customers for a trial period of 15 days as a special offer. Sify has chosen a mix of internal promotions and channel partners to maximise its go-to-market strategy, Adarsh Singh, Vice-President, Cloud & Managed Services, said.

Sify Technologies, with 22 per cent growth, offers end-to-end solutions over a common telecom data network infrastructure reaching more than 1,300 cities across the country. Last year, the company clocked a turnover of close to ₹1,300 crore.
