Sify Technologies Ltd, a network, IT and application service provider, has reported a net profit of ₹13 crore for the quarter ended September 2015.
This is an increase of 48 per cent over the same quarter last year. Revenue increased by 18 per cent to ₹371 crore.
Raju Vegesna, Chairman of the Chennai-based, Nasdaq-listed company, said that the company’s efforts on building a comprehensive ICT ecosystem are reflected in the results during the quarter.
While Sify’s focus remains primarily on the enterprise market, the renewed interest from the government sector is helping in pushing the overall demand for IT services forward.
Sify is well-positioned to take advantage of these opportunities, he said in a press release.
