Sify Technologies has set up its fifth data centre at Noida with an investment of $30 million in the first phase.
As per a company press statement, the data centre is design-certified by the Uptime Institute as Tier III, which means that the facility would have an availability of 99.982 per cent of time.
The Nasdaq-listed company has invested around $200 million in building Network and Data Centre capabilities over the last five years, Chief Executive Officer, Kamal Nath, said.
The Noida centre would provide services surrounding hosted applications, enterprise risk management and others, the statement said.
