Tata Teleservices’ net loss has widened by 36 per cent to Rs 162.66 crore in the quarter ending June 2012 compared with the same period last year. Revenues were up 12 per cent to Rs 659.48 crore(Rs 589.96 crore). The telecom company focussed on its wireless broadband services business. Its value-added services and data revenues accounted for 35 per cent of total wireless revenues in Q1-FY13, said Tata Teleservices.
Tata Docomo, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd, has extended its network strength of over 9,000 towers across Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa circle. The stock closed at Rs 13.06, down 4.04 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
