The National Stock Exchange has excluded Financial Technologies from the derivative segment. All the existing contracts — October, November and December — will expire on October 31. “No futures and options contracts shall be available in Financial Technologies (India) Ltd for trading in the equity derivatives segment from November 1,” said NSE press release. The stock closed at Rs 144, up 2 per cent over the previous day’s close. The FT October futures, which shed 97,500 shares (or 5 per cent) in open interest at 18.73 lakh shares, closed at Rs 141.25.
