The online transaction platform, BSE StAR MF, on Monday registered a record high volume of 5.92 lakh transactions in a single day.
In August, BSE StAR MF processed nearly 29 lakh orders, adding 1.94 lakh new SIPs.
More than 37 per cent of the new financial transactions in the MF industry are accounted for by BSE StAR MF, said a press release from the BSE. Over 1.65 crore investors are registered on the BSE StAR MF platform.
In the current fiscal to September 10, BSE StAR MF handled nearly 13.9 million transactions amounting to over ₹66,250 crore, according to the release.
The BSE StAR MF has also crossed direct registration of 14,000 IFA/mutual fund distributors. With this, the platform has created an overall distribution network of over two lakh in over 3,000 cities and towns.
