Robusta Parchment coffees continued to receive strong support from exporters at the Indian Coffee Trade Association (ICTA) auction.

According to auctioneer J. Thomas & Co, there were fewer enquiries for Arabica Plantation coffees. Enquiries were selective for Arabica Cherry and domestic trade looked out for Robusta Cherry.

A few lots of Arabica Plantation PB grade were sold at Rs 9,200 for a 50 kg bag, while other grades remained unsold. Arabica Cherry PB and AB grades were unsold while C grade sold at prices similar to last week’s levels.

Robusta Parchment RKR, AB & C grades were sold at prices similar to the previous sale’s. PB grade remained unsold. Robusta Cherry AB grade sold at a price similar to the last sale date. PB & C grade remained unsold.

Coffee Board’s North-East Region Arabica Cherry AB grade received support from exporters. Meanwhile, other grades were bought by the domestic trade. Robusta Cherry coffees met with good support from the domestic trade.

Arabica Plantation BBB remained unsold, while Arabica Cherry BBB and Robusta Cherry BBB sold at prices similar to last week’s levels. Robusta Parchment BBB’s price was higher by Rs 50 to 100 for a 50 kg bag compared to last week’s auctions.
