Indigenous edible oils such as groundnut and cotton refined oil declined by ₹5 and ₹2 for 10 kg each on reports of rain in main producing States. Other oils ruled unchanged.
In domestic market, physical demand remained lower tracking bearish futures. However, availability in ready delivery remained tight keeping sentiment steady but in forward it remained weak. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹570, super palmolein ₹590 and soyabean refined oil ₹642. Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹564, soyabean refined oil ₹628 for August, sunflower refined oil ₹630. Allana was quoting palmolein for ₹564, soyabean refined oil ₹630 and sunflower refined oil ₹632 for August. In Saurashtra, groundnut telia tin was ₹1,225 (₹1,220) and loose (10 kg) ₹780 (₹780).
