Despite weak global cues, majority of oils traded higher on improved demand and buying support. Soya refined went for ₹738-40 for 10 kg, while soya solvent ruled at 705-10. Palm oil was at ₹678, cotton oil (Indore) ₹698, cotton oil (Gujarat) ₹650, while groundnut oil ruled at ₹1,020-40 respectively.
Weak arrivals and report of poor crop also pushed up mustard seeds to ₹4,800-5,000 a quintal, while raida ruled at ₹3,400. Plant deliveries of mustard seeds for Jaipur line were also quoted higher at ₹4,070-75 a quintal. Amid declining arrival, rally in soyabean continued with its prices in local mandis rising to ₹3,600 a quintal.
