Cotton oil traded down on weak buying by domestic brands. Groundnut oil remained unchanged on poor demand from mills and limited buying in retail market. Traders said that demand in edible oils was very slow as retail buying was limited. Sufficient supply and limited demand led to flat prices in groundnut oil . Groundnut oil loose stood at ₹940-945 per 10 kg, Jamnagar line telia ₹1,457-58 per 15 kg and groundnut oil new tin traded at ₹1,645-50 per 15 kg. About 1-2 tankers of groundnut oil were traded here. Washed cotton oil lost ₹5 to ₹580-583 per 10 kg and cotton oil new tin moved down by ₹10 to ₹1,030-50 per 15 kg. About 20-25 tankers of cotton oil were traded in Saurashtra’s mills.
