Cotton stays flat

Cotton prices traded unchanged on limited demand from domestic mills. Kapas or raw cotton also traded flat on weak ginning demand. Traders said that due to high price mills were buying in small amount. Gujarat Sankar-6 cotton stood at ₹46,000-47,000 per candy of 356 kg. About 2,000 bales arrived in Gujarat and 4,500 bales arrived in India. Kapas traded at ₹1,240-1,280 per 20 kg and gin delivery kapas quoted ₹1,280-1,320 per 20 kg. Cottonseed stood at ₹625-632.
