Imported oils slip on bearish cues

Imported palmolein and soyabean refined oil declined by ₹1 and ₹3 for 10 kg each on back of weak overseas markets while rapeseed oil lost ₹3 in absence of fresh orders.

Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹510 JNPT, super palmolein ₹537 and soyabean refined oil ₹593. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹507, soyabean refined oil ₹590, sunflower refined oil ₹690. Allana traded palmolein for ₹512 JNPT, super palmolein ₹537, soyabean refined oil ₹592 and sunflower oil ₹695. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin was flat at ₹1,560 and loose (10 kg) at ₹1,000 (990).

BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 950 (960), soya ref. oil 587 (590), sunflower exp. ref. 630 (630), sunflower ref. 685 (685), rapeseed ref. oil 872 (875), rapeseed exp. ref. 842 (845), cottonseed ref. oil 610 (610) and palmolein 505 (506).
