Despite increase in minimum support prices by the government, majority of pulse seeds in Indore mandis today either traded lower or ruled stable barring moong which gained higher on weak availability. Tur (Maharashtra) ruled steady at₹4,100, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) quoted at ₹3,600-3,700 a quintal. Tur dal also ruled flat on subdued buying and demand with tur dal (sawa no.) today being quoted at ₹5,400-5,500, while tur dal (full) ruled at ₹5,700-6,200. Slack physical demand and increased availability dragged urad with urad (bold) in local mandis today declining to ₹3,500-3,800 a quintal, (down ₹300 in the past few days), while urad (medium) ruled at ₹3,000-3,200, Urad dal ruled stable with urad dal (medium) today being quoted at ₹5,700-5,800, while urad dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,800-6,000. Weak availability and increased demand on the other hand perked up moong with moong (bold) today rising to ₹4,800-5,000 a quintal (up ₹500 from last week), while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,200-4,300. Moong dal (medium) quoted at ₹6,100-6,200, while moong dal (bold) ruled at₹6,300-6,400 a quintal respectively.
