The bullish trend in pulses and pulse seeds, continuing for the past few days, seems to have ended with monsoon enveloping the whole State. Tur (Mahrashtra), which had gained almost ₹300 at ₹4,600 a quintal in the last one week, declined to ₹4,500 with selling pressure outstripping demand on account of heavy rains in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, tur (Madhya Pradesh) declined to ₹3,900-4,000 (₹4,300-4,400).

However, future of tur appears bullish, given higher imports and decline in domestic stock. Besides expected rise in festival demand in the coming days will further add to the bullish sentiment, said a trader.

Tur dal (full) being quoted at ₹6,600-6,850, tur dal (full) at ₹5,950-6,150, while tur marka ruled at ₹7,100.

Slack demand also dragged moong by ₹150-200 with prices of moong (bold) in Indore mandis on Wednesday being quoted at ₹6,500-6,700 (₹6,700-6,880), while moong (medium) declined to ₹5,800-6,300 (₹6,400-6,500).

Moong dal (medium) was at ₹7,300-7,600, moong dal (bold) at ₹7,700-8,000, while moong mongar ruled at ₹8,350-8,550.

Urad (bold) declined to ₹5,300-5,500 (₹5,700-5,800), while urad (medium) slipped to ₹4,800-5,200 (₹5,100-5,300).
