Prices of tur dal, urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar and maida declined, while the rates for wheat and sooji remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Tur dal moved down by Rs 200 to Rs 5,800 per quintal from the previous rate of Rs 6,000.
Similarly, both urad dal and moong dal went down by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,400 and Rs 6,400 per quintal, respectively, from yesterday’s close of Rs 6,600 and Rs 6,600.
Both sugar and gram dal declined by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 2,700 and Rs 2,950, respectively, from Rs 2,750 and Rs 3,000.
Maida (90 kg) moved down by Rs 100 to Rs 1,600 from Rs 1,700.
The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): tur dal Rs 5,800, urad dal Rs 6,400, moong dal Rs 6,400, gram dal Rs 2950, sugar Rs 2,700, wheat Rs 1,800, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,600 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,800.
