With monsoon hitting Maharashtra, sluggish demand and rise in selling pressure from stockists have arrested uptrend in tur with tur (Maharashtra) declining to ₹7,100-7,200 a quintal, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹6,000-6,200.
Tur dal (full) was at ₹9,900-10,400, tur dal (sawa no.) at ₹9,400-9,600, while tur marka ruled at ₹10,500-800. Slack buying and rise in arrival of new crop also dragged moong by almost ₹500 to ₹6,500-6,800, while moong (medium) declined to ₹6,200-6,400.
Moong dal (medium) went for ₹8,800-9,000, moong dal (bold) ₹9,200-9,400, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,200-9,700. Urad (bold) declined to ₹8,200-8,300 (down ₹100 from last week), urad (medium) ruled at ₹7,500-7,600.
Urad dal (medium) fetched ₹9,900-10,000, urad dal (bold) ₹10,100-200, while urad mongar was quoted at ₹11,200-700 a quintal.
