Sluggish trend continued in the majority of oils in Indore mandis on weak physical demand and global cues with soy refined quoted at ₹768-70 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at ₹735-40. Palm and cotton oils also traded low with palm oil quoted at ₹660 (down ₹10 from last week), while cotton oil (Gujarat) ruled at ₹700 and cotton oil (Indore) at ₹745 for 10 kg respectively. Groundnut oil ruled stable at ₹940-60 for 10 kg.
Amid rising arrivals and weak physical demand, mustard seeds and raida continued to trade low with mustard seeds prices in the physical market quoted at ₹3,750-75 a quintal, while raida ruled at ₹3,400. In future also mustard seeds with its April and May contracts on the NCDEX today closing at ₹3,806 (down ₹31) and ₹3,842 a quintal (down ₹32) respectively, Plant deliveries of new mustard seeds for Jaipur line quoted lower at ₹3,920-25 a quintal.
