Despite weak global cues and subdued demand, the majority of oils in Indore mandis either ruled stable or edged marginally higher on improved demand in palm oil on Thursday. Soy refined Indore (Avi) was quoted at ₹815, while soya refined (Ruchi, Bajrang & Vippy) ruled at ₹803 for 10 kg each.

Soya refined Neemuch (MS) was quoted at ₹805 and (Dhanuka) at ₹892. Soya refined MS Pachor ruled at ₹811, while soya refined Mandsaur (Amrit) at ₹ 807. Soya solvent was quoted at ₹760-65. Palm oil (Indore) ruled higher at ₹800 for 10 kg and cotton oil (Gujarat) at ₹783, while groundnut oil (Indore) ruled at ₹1,310-1,330.

Mustard seeds (Nimar) was quoted higher at ₹4,000-4,075 a quintal. Weak availability of mustard seeds with crushers also lifted plant delivery of mustard seeds for Jaipur line to ₹4,780-4,785 a quintal. The arrival of mustard seeds across the country today rose to 3.75 lakh bags. Rajasthan led the arrival with 2 lakh bags, followed by UP with 70,000 bags, Madhya Pradesh 25,000 bags, Gujarat, Haryana/Punjab 15,000 bags each, while 50,000 bags were offloaded elsewhere in the country.
