Stockists keep away from edible oils

Edible oils market ruled flat in absence of demand. Activities were limited as stockists stayed away from fresh bets. On the BCE, barring groundnut oil all other edible oils ruled unchanged.

Liberty was quoting palmolein for ₹472-475, super palmolein ₹497 and soyabean refined oil ₹628. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹465, soyabean refined oil ₹621 and sunflower refined oil ₹740. Allana traded palmolein at ₹471, soya refined oil ₹625 and sunflower oil ₹740.

In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was at ₹1,530 (1,520) and loose (10 kg) at ₹975 (975).

BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 975 (980), soya ref. 621 (621), sunflower exp. ref. 670 (670), sunflower ref. 740 (740), rapeseed ref. oil 920 (920), rapeseed exp. ref. 880 (880), cottonseed ref. oil 580 (580) and palmolein 457 (457).
