Strong rupee and firm futures lifted volume in edible oils market on Tuesday. During the day about 2,200 tonnes palmolein and about 400 tonnes sunflower refined oil were bought by stockiest directly from local refineries for whole January. Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹650 for 15-31 January. Super palmolein ₹670 for 15-31 January. Allana: Palmolein Ex Khapoli Rs ₹645 up to 30 January. Soya refined oil₹720 up to 30 January.

Sunflower refined oil ₹725 up to 30 January. Golden agri : Palmolein₹630 up to 25 January. and 10 February. Emami : palmolein ₹625.50 up to 31 January. Ruchi: Palmolein ₹626 up to 12 January. Soya oil ₹712 up to 12 January and Sunflower refi.oil ₹720 up to 12 January. At Rajkot : groundnut oil Telia Tin was ₹1,480 (₹1,480) and Loose (10 kg) was at ₹940 (₹925).

Malaysian crude palm oil, January-18 settled up at MYR2,472 (MYR 2,444) and February 18 at ended higher at MYR 2,509 (MYR 2,481). On NCDEX: Soyabean refined oil January-18 was up at₹725.95 (₹721.75) and February-18 at ₹732 (₹727.50) till evening. On BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 970 (970), soya refined oil 708 (705), sunflower exp. ref. 655 (655), sunflower ref. 710 (705), rapeseed ref. oil 800 (810), rapeseed expeller ref. 770 (780), cottonseed ref. oil 695 (695) and Palmolein 622 (618).
