Sugar market ruled steady on Wednesday on the back of routine demand, supply and volume. On Tuesday evening, 14-15 mills offered tenders and sold about 30,000 bags at ₹3,520-3,580 for S-grade and ₹3,610-3,680 for M-grade.
Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates were: (in ₹) S-grade 3,670- 3,756 and M-grade 3,762-3,932. Naka delivery rates were: (in ₹) S-grade 3,630-3,700 and M-grade 3,740-3,820.
