Turmeric prices dipped further at Erode markets on Tuesday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Salesyard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,549-7,614 a quintal and the root variety at ₹5,250-6,519. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,997-7,194 and the root variety at ₹5,560-6,590. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,899-7,079 and the root variety at ₹5,899-6,499. Out of 1,181 bags of turmeric kept for sale, 1,032 bags were sold.
