Asian markets remain weak

Asian stocks were trading lower on Friday as investors around the globe were worried over the economic and geopolitical fears.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 115.67 points or 1.11 per cent to 10,318.71. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng shed 168.77 points or 0.71 per cent to 23,446.12. Singapore’s Straits Times was down 20.64 points or 0.67 per cent at 3,054.80. South Korea’s Kospi declined 28.31 points or 1.43 per cent to 1,953.27.

Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 dropped 52.4 points or 1.11 per cent to 4,647.30. China’s Shanghai Composite was down 8.02 points or 0.27 per cent at 2,949.12. Taiwan’s Taiex fell 99.01 points or 1.15 per cent to 8,543.89.
