Asian stocks were trading in a mixed range on Tuesday after China's closely-watched inflation data failed to surprise markets.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 34.62 points or 0.32 per cent to 10,760.16. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 60.34 points or 0.26 per cent to 23,060.72. Singapore’s Straits Times was down 15.32 points or 0.49 per cent at 3,089.10. South Korea’s Kospi was up 10.27 points or 0.51 per cent at 2,024.86.
Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 was down 0.4 points or 0.01 per cent at 4,935.40. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 18.4 points or 0.63 per cent at 2,917.53. Taiwan’s Taiex gained 27.95 points or 0.32 per cent to 8,713.42.
