The stock of Balmer Lawrie & Company jumped 6.5 per cent to Rs 615 on the BSE as the board of directors is meeting on March 26 to consider bonus issue.
The company, which has been increasing the dividend payout consistently over the years, has not issued any bonus shares to its shareholders so far.
The stock 52-week high and low are Rs 710 and Rs 511.55, respectively.
