Bayer CropScience on Wednesday announced a buyback proposal to purchase 12.65 lakh shares at a price of ₹4,000 a share aggregating to ₹506 crore. The company has appointed Ambit Corporate Finance Pvt Ltd as the lead manager to the buyback offer. It would be subject to approval of the shareholders. The shares would be bought back from all shareholders on proportionate basis through ‘Tender Offer’ route. Shares of Bayer closed at ₹3,709.25, up 1.79 per cent, on the BSE. PTI
