BPCL rallied further to notch up gains of 3.91 per cent at Rs 733.85 on the NSE by close on Thursday. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 706.25.
Dr Reddy’s Labs, which announced earlier today that net profit in the third quarter slipped 7 per cent, was up 3.84 per cent at Rs 3,363.30. The share had closed Wednesday’s session at Rs 3,239.05.
HDFC Bank, which announced a 12 per cent growth in profit in the third quarter, extended its morning rally to trade up 3.46 per cent at Rs 1,095 as against Rs 1,058.35 previously.
BHEL steamed up 3.10 per cent to trade at Rs 287.90 as against Rs 279.25 at close on Wednesday.
Ambuja Cement firmed up 2.77 per cent at Rs 255.95. The share had finished yesterday’s session at Rs 249.05.
