Goa Carbon has informed the BSE that operations at the company’s Paradeep Unit located at VIII. Udayabata, Paradeep. Dist. Jagatsinghpur, Odisha, which was briefly shut for regular maintenance work, will resume operations from June 3, 2015. There would not be any financial impact due to the maintenance shutdown of the company’s Paradeep Unit as there were sufficient inventories to service the orders in hand, the company notice added.

Patel Engineering has informed the BSE that the company's Board Meeting scheduled to be held on June 2, 2015, for approval of financial results of the company for the year end March 31, 2015, has been postponed to June 15. As a result of the postponement, the close period (i.e. closure of trading window) for Insiders covered under the company’s Insider Code of Conduct shall continue and end 48 hours after the results are announced on June 15, 2015.

South Indian Bank has informed the BSE that its Board of Directors at its meeting held on June 2, has decided to a) augment Tier I capital through issue of equity shares not exceeding ₹20 crore, b) seek shareholder nod in the ensuing Annual General Meeting to increase the foreign direct investment limit in its equity to 59 per cent from 49 per cent now, c) increase the bank’s borrowing power to ₹6,000 crore from ₹5,000 crore now, and d) authorise the Board to issue Basel III compliant Tier II Bonds for a total face value not exceeding ₹1,000 crore.
