Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd has secured new orders aggregating Rs 482 crore for construction of residential, institutional and hotel buildings including electrical plumbing and fire-fighting services.

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd's board of directors on Wednesday approved the enabling resolution for raising funds by further issue of securities in domestic/ international markets through various instruments including equity shares/ warrants with Non-Convertible Debentures under Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) or Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) or American Depository Receipts (ADRs) or Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) etc. up to an amount not exceeding Rs1,200 crore.

L&T's Power Transmission & Distribution IC has secured an EPC order valued Rs 1,210 crore ($269 million) from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation for supply and construction of 13 extra high voltage substations.
