Ved Krishna, MD of Yash Papers has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Uttar Pradesh Government for ₹73.44 crore. The company plans to expand its paper unit III from the existing installed capacity of 70 tonnes to 100 tonnes and tableware capacity from 11.50 to 23 tonnes in the coming years. Shareholders will watch the development, as Yash Papers had reported a profit of ₹5 crore on revenues of ₹50 crore for the December quarter.
