GE Power India has been awarded a contract worth approximately ₹309 crore ($47.50 million) by NTPC. The contract includes installation of its flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) system at phase-I (2X800 MW) of its super thermal power project (STPP) in Telangana. Shares of GE Power India jumped 2.63 per cent at ₹834.15 on the BSE.
