The company has won a ₹125-crore order for supply, installation, shifting and commissioning of “30,000 3Q meters, (LT, CT & HT meters) with accessories” under the Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojna and Integrated Power Development Scheme. The meters are to be installed at CESU, NESCO, SOUTHCO and WESCO utilities in Odisha on turnkey basis. Supplies are to begin from the first quarter of FY19. This is a ‘significant milestone’ for Genus, the company said, adding it will enhance its market position as a technologically advanced meter supplier. With this, the company’s total order book now stands at ₹1,260 crore. Shares of Genus Power gained 0.3 per cent at ₹53.10 on the NSE.
