Continuing to rally, HCL Infosystems stock surged over 7 per cent today following its tie-up with technology major Dell for a distribution partnership.

The stock soared 7.11 per cent to Rs 36.15 on the BSE. On the NSE, shares of the company climbed 6.95 per cent to Rs 36.15.

Yesterday, the stock had gained 6 per cent.

Technology major Dell had yesterday announced that it has entered into a distribution partnership with HCL Infosystems Ltd to distribute Dell’s entire range of hardware and software products.

HCL Infosystems will leverage its pan-India network of partners to distribute the products, Dell had said in a release.

The partnership will widen the reach of Dell’s products especially in Tier II and Tier III locations across the country, the release said, adding that it also involves comprehensive Go-to-Market initiatives and activities.
