Housing Development Finance Company has invoked the pledged shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises. Following this, HDFC’s stake in the hospital major has increased to 5.07 per cent from 4.82 per cent. According to a disclosure to the exchanges, Apollo Hospitals said the financial major invoked 3.5 lakh shares or 0.25 per cent on December 10. According to shareholding pattern, promoters have pledged 3.06 crore shares with financial institutions. On Wednesday, the stock of Apollo Hospitals closed flat at ₹1,135 on the BSE.
