Shares of IT major Infosys rose over 1 per cent today ahead of its fourth quarter results to be announced later in the day.
After opening at Rs 1,174.50 against the previous close of Rs 1,162.25, the stock further gained 1.35 per cent to Rs 1,177.95 on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock went up by 1.33 per cent to Rs 1,178.15.
In terms of equity volume, 1.41 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE, and over 43 lakh shares changed hands on the NSE.
