Infosys was the top gainer on the NSE on Tuesday morning. At 10.49 am the share was trading at Rs 1,175.50 against Rs 1,142.15 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 2.92 per cent.
BPCL flared up 2.69 per cent at Rs 888.40 against Rs 865.15 at close overnight.
Tata Steel surged 2.49 per cent at Rs 252.90 against Rs 246.75 at close yesterday.
TCS gained 2.28 per cent to quote at Rs 2,745.95 against Rs 2,684.75 at close overnight.
Wipro marched up 1.68 per cent at Rs 585.55 against Rs 575.85 at close yesterday.
