Kotak Mutual appoints Harsha Upadhyaya as equity head

Kotak Mutual Fund has announced the appointment of Harsha Upadhyaya as the Head of Equities. Prior to this, he was with DSP Blackrock Investment Managers and before that with UTI Mutual Fund for a period of five years.

Speaking on the appointment, Sandesh Kirkire, CEO, Kotak Mutual Fund, said “Harsha’s experience will complement our existing equity fund management team. His demonstrated performance backed by our strong research and process oriented approach will go a long way in furthering our core belief of consistently creating an alpha over the benchmark for our investors.”
