Kridhan Infra on Thursday informed the exchanges that its subsidiary Swee Hong Ltd has won orders worth ₹56.60 crore (SG$11.3 million) in Singapore. Swee Hong has secured these contracts from the public utilities board for work related to the proposed sewers in Punggol North Area.
Kridhan has evolved into a leading EPC company in Singapore through the acquisition of Swee Hong Ltd. The company has an established foothold in the geotechnical and foundation engineering space and is the second-largest foundation engineering player in Singapore.
KIL has recently strengthened its India business through the strategic acquisition of Vijay Nirman Company, a construction company based in Visakhapatnam. VNC has a robust order book of over ₹3,200 crore (as on February 2018) and has strong technical skill sets with a superior leadership team. Kridhan, which currently holds 41.47 per cent in VNC, is in the process of acquiring 50.5 per cent stake. Shares of Kridhan Infra gained 0.54 per cent at ₹101.35 on the NSE.
