Comments
Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors led the pack on the NSE near the close on the NSE on Monday. At 3.25 pm Maruti was trading at Rs 3,450.50. This was a gain of 2.71 per cent on its previous close at Rs 3,359.60.
Tata Motors spurted 2.62 per cent at Rs 525.20 as against Rs 511.80 at close on Friday.
Both the Sensex and the Nifty ended in the red on weak global cues.
Tata Steel held steady to hold gains of 1.74 per cent at Rs 417.90 as against Rs 410.75 at close in the previous trading session.
Larsen & Toubro edged lower to hold gains of 1.53 per cent at Rs 1,558.20 as against Rs 1,534.65 at close last week.
IDFC gained 1.51 per cent at Rs 161.20 as against Rs 158.80 at close in the previous session.
